They are being kept for posterity. ## Pre-show > [!question]- Where can I purchase tickets for the show? > You can purchase tickets at the official website: https://lifeandtrustnyc.com/tickets/ > [!question]- Are rush tickets available? > Starting mid-Oct 2024, rush tickets have become available for in-person purchase between 3:30pm and 4:30pm on Wed and Thu (dates can vary), with a maximum of two tickets, for that evening's performance. The cost is $80. They can be purchased from the Trusted Teller inside Conwell Coffee Hall if there is availability. > [!question]- How should I dress for the show? > The show spaces are relatively warm and feel humid, therefore it's recommended to dress appropriately; there is a coat check ($5) prior to entering the show. It's highly recommended to wear appropriate comfortable footwear (such as running shoes), since by its nature the show has a lot of walking. If you are able to, it's recommended to wear contact lenses instead of glasses; if you wear glasses, ask a teller at the show for instructions on how to get a special strap. If you wear a smartwatch, make sure to adjust it so it doesn't light up automatically within the show space. > [!question]- When should I arrive? > You should arrive at 69 Beaver Street at the time of your purchased entry time. If you arrive earlier, you will be not allowed entry until approximately your entry time. Specifically, you should not congregate or line up outside the entrance. > Note: If you have Pre-show cocktail hour tickets, you should arrive at any time during the Pre-show cocktail hour (usually 6 to 6:30pm). > [!question]- I have Pre-show cocktail hour tickets; what should I expect from the canapés? > They are a fun finger food, however it's better to eat before the show instead. > > [!info]- Spoiler > > They currently include: pigs in a blanket with mustard on top, quiche, and a beet "caviar". > [!question]- How long will I spend in the Conwell Coffee Hall prior to entering the show? > With a Pre-show cocktail hour time slot, you will have about an hour; while with the standard Arrival time slots, you will probably have between 15 to 30 minutes, and enter the show later. > If you arrive during the Cocktail hour, you will be able to have your phone bag unlocked (assuming you didn't check your phone at coat check) until approximately 15 minutes before the "show start time". > It's best to finish any drinks by then so you are ready to enter the show. ## Show >[!question]- How long does the show run and are there loops? >The show runs for approximately 3 hours and has a looping structure. > > [!info]- Spoiler >> There are two loops that run for over an hour each. If you are in one of the first groups to enter the space, you will see no performers for a short while, until the first loop starts. The end of the second loop leads to the finale. > [!question]- Are there places to sit within the show space? > Yes, most rooms will have some amount of space available for sitting, however be aware of any nearby performers. > [!question]- Are there drinks or water available within the show? > After the first half of the show, you can visit the Conwell Coffee Hall to purchase a drink, or to get some water. > Within the show floors there are several water fountains, one on each floor, usually near the stairwells. > [!question]- How big is the show space? > The show space is relatively large, spread across 5 main floors. For the best experience, follow a character you find interesting, instead of just walking from room to room (unless you're intentionally exploring the set). > > [!info]- Spoiler > > The floors are: G, A, B, C, D (deepest floor). The intro area and the finale room are on floor 1 (topmost floor), however these areas aren't accessible outside of the intro / finale. Conwell Coffee Hall is also on this floor. > [!question]- How do I move between the floors? > You can use one of several different stairwells; the elevators also become available in the second half of the show. > > [!info]- Spoiler > > The main stairwell is E, with D being a medium sized and B a smaller sized stairwell. Stairwell B doesn't access all floors. Only one of the two elevators has access to all floors. > [!question]- I'm going with friends, how do I ensure we stay together? > A big part of the experience is getting to pick and choose who you follow and where you will go next within the show space, so in order to get the best possible show experience, you should not try to stay together. As a bonus, you'll be able to talk about all the amazing things you've seen at the end of the show! > However, if you really wish to stay together, please don't hold hands or block others, as it disrupts the experience of everyone around you. > [!question]- Is there candy within the show? > There is a way to get candy. > > [!info]- Spoiler > > The candy is contained within an old claw machine game operated by pulling a rope and turning a wheel. Note: getting the candy is not guaranteed and the machine might not even work. > > There is also occasionally candy within the intro area. > > Finally, there might be yet another way to get candy, perhaps try looking for it! :) > > [!question]- Are there restrooms within the show space? > Yes, most floors have restrooms. > > [!info]- Spoiler > > Floor A has no restrooms, while floors G, B, C and D have them.
